Photo of the Week

Good afternoon everyone,

This post ties in with my first blog post, about taking the days that I go out and clouds consume the sun and turning that into an opportunity for a cooler photo.  This is a picture that I originally wasn't happy with, just because I couldn't get the colors right when i was in post-processing.  I let the photo sit for a day before I came back to it, and I couldn't be happier!  I took and changed just a few sliders and started to get some promising results, and finally worked the colors into this final product.  The tone gives off a gloomy, scary mood, and would look great blown up and printed, and I'm thinking a "driftwood" frame would add a nice touch.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.”
